This Lebanese-inspired dish is bound to leave a lasting impression on your guests. 
Gives 4 portions

Ingredients

  • 4 or 5 carrots, peeled and cut into pieces
  • 200g (1 pack) of Halloumi cheese, cut into pieces
  • 1 tablespoon cumin seeds
  • 1 tablespoon coriander seeds
  • 1\4 bunch of fresh coriander, chopped
  • 1\4 cup Paka olive oil
  • Salt and pepper

Preparation steps

Clean and peel the carrots. Chop them into approximately 2 cm-sized pieces and set them aside. Cube the Halloumi cheese and keep it aside.

In a pan, heat half of the specified amount of olive oil. Begin by cooking the carrots until they are partially cooked, around 2 to 5 minutes..

Introduce the Halloumi cheese into the pan and allow it to brown alongside the carrots. Add the spices, season lightly with salt and pepper, and continue cooking until all the ingredients are well grilled.

Plate the dish, decorate it with fresh coriander, and savor the delightful flavors!
