How it works

It's possible to trace the producers associated which each lot by scanning the QR code or by inserting the lot number using the search engine below.

01  

We conduct identification and analysis on the olives received from producers. Together, we fill out a form that facilitates the collection of traceability and impact data.

We store olive oil of the same variety in a tank to which we associate the producers and assign a unique code, for lot identification.

03  

We link a QR code to each batch, then attach it to the containers during the bottling process.

Our commitment to traceability

At Paka, we firmly believe that working with several small farmers as opposed to just a few large ones is vital for preserving the natural environment in the Albanian countryside and to sustaining production on a human scale. Yet, in order to secure income for all, we must find ways to consolidate the small artisanal productions of each farmer in accordance with industry standards.

This is why Paka remains committed to the ongoing improvement of its traceability system, a necessary component for improving the production, certification and marketing of Albanian olive oil while also ensuring the parcelization of ownership in olive groves.
